Show More ReviewsStarting from Kiyamachi-dori, cross the Guri Bridge to the east side of the Kamogawa River, which can effectively avoid the crowds of Shijo Bridge. Then go north to the starting point of the Gion Shirakawa River. From here, walk northeast and along the Shirakawa River, and you can go all the way to Heian Shrine; during the cherry blossom season, the entire road will be light pink. These are places where you can watch the night view while walking and avoid the crowds. You can also try walking to Nijo Castle.
