It is a temple of the Jodo sect in the Tohoku area at the intersection near Hankyu Saiin Station. Anyone can enter the precincts. Mrs. Yoshimasa Ashikaga Tomiko Hino prayed here and gave birth to Yoshihisa, so it is said that it is a temple with the benefit of easy delivery. There was a big Jizo in the precincts. There is a monument to Junnain in front of the mountain gate.

It is located in the Tohoku of the intersection of Nishioji Shijo and Saiin. It is popular as a temple that has the benefit of praying for a safe delivery because Tomiko Hino, the lawful wife of Yoshimasa Ashikaga, prayed for a safe delivery and gave birth to Yoshihisa safely. There is a large stone Jizo statue on the left of the main hall, and there are many small Jizo statues at its feet. It is said that it was excavated from the DOI. It's a very good temple.

Most of the precincts of Koyamaji Temple are under restoration work due to the typhoon damage, so you cannot stop by near Kindo. Ishisuiin is currently available for a tour. A replica of the famous "Bird and Beast Drama" is on display at Ishisuiin. The public toilet near Ishisuiin has Japan's first tea garden. I would like to visit again when the restoration is completed.
