Dali and Water!
Easy walk over from Cadaques to explore Dali's house (worth the cost of admission) AND have adventures out on the water! Knowledgable and helpful staff for renting kayaks. Excellent food options right...
Beautiful in the afternoon sunshine!
There's plenty of parking although nothing in the shade - beware visitors with dogs. The day we visited there was a green alga right round the edge of water, I didn't fancy snorkelling with it.
Pretty little fishing port near Cadaques
Worth the roughly 2km (but quite steep!) walk from the centre of Cadaques. A sleepy little port with fishing boats (very pretty), but not much else. Has Dali's house there (not open when we went) whi...

there's no sanctuary perfect, only the place you imagine and inspires you, for me this is one of the best...and for Dalí was perfect

The island is a wonderful enclave, due to the wonderful landscape from Cadaqués to the same Cabo de Creus.
