Tower of Hercules is situated on a peninsula in northwestern Spain and is the second-tallest tower in the country. It is built on a 57m cliff and stands 55m tall. The tower is divided into levels, with the top level featuring a Roman-style lighthouse. Adjacent to the base is a small, rectangular Roman building. Built during the ancient Roman period, the tower has a history of about 1,900 years, and the lighthouse is named after Hercules from Greek mythology.
