Sifangjing Alley

Sifangjing Lane is a small alley built in the Ming and Qing generations in Zhenyuan Town. It is built on a half slope. The houses on both sides of the lane are scattered. There are four square wells in the alley. It is the main water source for residents in the alley. It is now a must-see place for tourists.

The Sifangjing Lane in Zhenyuan was formed in the Ming Dynasty and was named after the square ancient well in the lane. The water in the well was sweet and clear, and it never broke. The gates of the ancient houses in the alley are mostly crooked, commonly known as "crooked gates". The lanes on the hillside turn left and right, called "slope roads", which is the so-called "crooked gates" in the ancient city. Sifangjing Lane is a more representative ancient street lane. Sifangjing Lane, close to Xinglong Street, there is a archway at the entrance of the alley, and there is a sculpture of the old man who picks water. Walk up along the laneway, not far from a Sifang Well built in the Ming Dynasty. The well water has not dried up so far, and the water is still overflowing when the water is full, which is amazing. Sifangjing Lane, backed by Shiping Mountain, houses built on the mountain. When we went, the boss contacted us by phone very early to explain the route of arrival. As soon as we arrived there, the boss and his wife came down to pick us up. Our small suitcase was still carried up by the boss, thank him very much. This inn is halfway up the mountain, so it can overlook the night view of Zhenyuan.
