One of the most beautiful areas of Lincoln. Be warned though, the clue is in the name. It's steep, very steep and you might need a break at different points of the climb. Not one for the faint hearted...

Really steep hill, which nice independent shops. The heart of Lincoln

Be warned, it really is steep. Not sure what is worse, going up or coming down. Wear sensible shoes, especially as the road has cobbles. Worth going to get a few photos.

Not as bad as it seems.

Challenging but worth it. It’s quite intimidating when you first see the full gradient but take your time, look at & in the shops & the Cathedral & the castle at the top are your prize.
