Pingxingguan Victory Memorial Hall

＂ Pingxingguan Dajie Memorial Hall ＂ is located in Baiyatai Township, Lingqiu County, Datong City, Shanxi Province. ＂ Ping-type Guan Dajie ＂ Also known as: Ping-type Guan Battle, Ping-type Guan Ambush Battle, September 25, 1937, the Eighth Route Army in Ping-type Guan to cooperate with friendly forces to fight and block Japanese offensive, commanded by 115 Division Director Lin Yu and Deputy Director Yuan Rongxu, giving full play to the long-term melee and mountain fighting. A successful ambush campaign by concentrated superior forces against the Japanese army, which annihilated more than 1,000 Japanese elites and seized a large number of military supplies. The victory of Ping-type Guan effectively hit the Japanese army's madness and made the people of the whole country see the hope of the Chinese nation. In order to commemorate Ping-type Guan Dajie, the Ping-type Guan Battle Memorial Hall was built on the battle site in 1970, and the name was changed to ＂ Ping-type Guan Dajie Memorial Hall ＂ in 2001.
