Jishi Folk Village

The Gahu Forest is located in the middle of the foothills of Jishi Mountain and 1 km west of the county town of Chuimatan. It covers an area of more than 20,000 mu. The climate here is refreshing and pleasant, and the air, soil and water sources are free of pollution. The gurgling water, the singing birds, and the wild flowers everywhere constitute the unique scenery of the folk village, which is a good place to travel and escape the summer heat. Standing on the side of Linda Highway, the five golden characters of "Jishi Folk Village" at the top of the tall archway gate show people the attractive and majestic appearance of the folk village. In 2000, security houses, Dongxiang and Salar folk houses that reflect folk customs, pavilions with flying eaves and corners, beautiful fountains, fish ponds covering more than one mu of land, wide roads and other facilities were built here, as well as the size of "Stone Palace" for leisure and entertainment. and catering, accommodation and other comprehensive service facilities. The Baoan people are a unique ethnic group in Jishishan County. In the folk villages, their houses are characterized by connected houses, while the houses of the Dongxiang and Salar people are particularly scattered. Jishi Folk Village has become a county park and the center of tourism in Jishishan County. There are also residential display areas, Yuwang cultural areas, Shihai tourist areas and ancient culture exhibition areas under construction.
