Westminster Abbey situated on the north bank of the River Thames in London, next to the Houses of Parliament, is a magnificent Royal Catholic Cathedral in the Gothic style, a holy place in England, and prominent among the many churches in the country.
The coronation throne of Edward I is located behind the church altar. This dilapidated seat has witnessed the changes of the British royal family for hundreds of years.
Other visitors' reviews of Westminster Abbey
Show More ReviewsAfter watching the Buckingham Palace changing ceremony, we arrived at Westminster Abbey. There were a lot of people in the queue, about an hour and a half before entering the church. There is a interpreter at the door, you can choose Chinese. Follow the team and the interpreter is also explained. My favorite is the Matisse-style painting window. The staff in the church is very high quality and the temperament is very good, which is awe-inspiring.
