P Westminster Abbey (Westminster Abbey), officially known as the "St. Peter's Union Church", known as the "Spire of Honor", is located on the southwest side of Parliament Square in London, England, and was ordered to be built in 1050 by the religious king Edward I and built in 1065. The existing church was rebuilt by Henry III in 1245 and was added throughout the ages until the 15th century. It is the highest-status church in England. It is considered a masterpiece of British Gothic architecture.
We traveled to London, the first place to go to the church is the main place to visit in Europe, Westminster Abbey is very worth going, close to the neighbouring club building, Big Ben and the British National Art Gallery, with Chinese audio explanation.
It is convenient to buy tickets. The district Westminster Temple takes paper tickets with the electronic QR code. After entering, find the staff to get the voice guide and explain the important parts. But if you are interested in history and religion, you can do a guide in advance, so that you will feel more comfortable visiting. A must-visit attraction in London.
The magnificent cathedral, the crowning holy place of the kings of all ages, witnessed countless rise and fall, the mausoleum of many kings and famous people, and the great past is also attributed to this, but the river of life is eternal...
What an amazing attraction! This was one of few that we are willing to pay for the admission tickets for as the history and culture are too amazing to miss! Tickets came with an audio guide and it brings you to every historic position (tombs) with an in-depth video explanation. The building’s history is really something you cannot miss! Cater at least 1-2 hours to really feel the history that happened here on your trip to London!
The most important events in the history of England has been held in the Westminster Abbey. It's tremendous feeling even to be around.
Well-deserved, highly ornamental, must use electronic guide, to understand a lot of historical stories is best to do homework in advance. Of course, looking for the graves of famous scientists is also the interest of children to visit. The ancient religious sites are mostly condensed with architectural essence, and are deeply shocked by the rich and colorful Gothic architecture!
Great! Westminster Abbey (Westminster Abbey), a typical Gothic building, built in 960 AD on the north bank of the Thames in London, was built by the "confessor" Edward and canonized in 1065. Henry III, in honor of Edward, vowed to build a more Gothic church, leaving little of the original structure. It is the chapel of the Church of England, where 38 British monarchs, including the current Queen, were crowned, while Westminster Abbey is the auditorium for the wedding of British royals and is also a state burial mausoleum.
