We went on a weekday, visiting two parks and spending almost 7 hours there. It wasn't too crowded, making for a good experience. I highly recommend buying the Fastpass! While we didn't use it in every queue, the biggest surprise was the park's photo service. The professional camera photos were so much better than phone photos, and with the Fastpass, you can download them for free. Be sure to cooperate when the staff asks you to pose, as they'll edit the backgrounds accordingly. We felt the photos were worth the ticket price. Due to privacy concerns, I haven't uploaded the photos the park took of us. The most thrilling ride was the indoor drop tower, and the most breathtaking was the Star Wars ride.

The hotel was excellent; the rooms were spacious and clean. The shuttle to Disneyland was very convenient. I had booked five nights through another platform. Originally, I planned to switch hotels after Disneyland and then Universal Studios, but the experience was quite good, and since Universal Studios isn't far, I booked four more nights through Ctrip. There are many hotels near the resort, and the shuttle to the park is shared. This hotel's advantage in terms of park shuttles is that it's near the front of the pick-up line, ensuring a seat. This is very convenient, as the pick-up point is right outside the hotel. The hotel breakfast, while basic and with limited variety, was served in a large, clean, and buffet-style restaurant with disposable plates and utensils. Very convenient. The rooms don't offer bottled water, but there's a small area downstairs where you can buy food and drinks. Prices are similar to those in the park; you can pay by credit card or have it added to your room bill. The laundry room is next to the gym on the first floor. Credit cards are accepted. Laundry is $3.50 each, and drying is $3.50. There are vending machines nearby for laundry balls and detergent. If you're planning a trip here, I recommend bringing your own laundry pods, as they're more economical 😂. A small box of laundry detergent, enough for one wash, costs about $2. Just for reference. The hotel is not far from two nearby outlet malls via Uber, and there's also a Walmart nearby. I haven't tried walking, but although the distance seems short, it's right next to a main road, so you'd probably have to take a detour. Attached is a shuttle bus timetable for December 🚌, for your reference. Hope this helps those booking hotels!

Griffith Observatory was the most tranquil stop I visited in Los Angeles. Climbing the hillside at dusk, the city stretched out below like a warm, yellow sea of lights, bustling yet serene. The observatory itself resembled a vintage white castle, its dome softening in the twilight. I didn't go inside to see the planetarium exhibit; I simply leaned against the railing, lost in thought. The wind was strong, but the vast panorama stretching from the city lights to the distant Hollywood sign instantly transported me away from daily anxieties. I remember that night vividly—not because it was spectacular, but because it gave me a long-lost, expansive peace.

The American Museum of Natural History in Los Angeles County felt like stepping into a giant, story-telling warehouse. The moment I entered, I was awestruck by the rows of terrifying dinosaur skeletons—looking up, I could practically imagine them moving. My favorite part was the second-floor glass cases crammed with minerals and gems; under the lights, each stone seemed to hold a miniature universe. When I reached the African animal exhibit, a sudden silence fell, and the still specimens in the dim light possessed a strange, solemn quality. After a long walk, I sat on a bench in the atrium, looking through the glass roof at the bright California sunshine. At that moment, I felt that this place possessed both the vastness of the world and the quiet weight of time—a perfect place to quietly relax and daydream.

Managed to catch some big superstar for Lakers outside the arena. Pretty upset as NBA regular season is ended when I visited in June and no playoff games at the time hence I wasn’t able to watch the game in the arena but I’m sure I will be back some day again to watch a NBA game.

Lakers is the favorite team of most fans. From the Kobe era to the current James-led basketball empire, there is one less game to watch. The live viewing experience is definitely worth the fans to find out.

Getty Center: The art temple on the top of a hill in Los Angeles is definitely worth a special visit! Even if you are only slightly interested in art, the Getty Center is still a place that will make your trip worthwhile. It is far more than a museum, but more like a mountaintop cultural paradise that combines architectural wonders, top art collections and beautiful scenery. Core highlights not to be missed 1. The building itself is a masterpiece of art: the pure white building complex designed by the master architect Richard Meier has simple and smooth lines and a modern feel. Take the iconic cable train slowly up the mountain, full of ritual, and the city scenery of Los Angeles gradually unfolds in front of you, and you are already intoxicated before entering the museum. 2. Hall-level art collection: *The core attraction! From the manuscripts of Renaissance masters, the shocking large paintings of Rubens in the Baroque period, to Van Gogh's vibrant "Irises" (the brushstrokes are breathtaking when seen up close), Monet's charming impressionist landscapes, Cezanne's solid still lifes... The key chapters of Western art history are vividly presented here, with extremely high quality and free to visit (only parking fees are charged). 3. The tranquil and elegant Central Garden: The Central Garden designed by Robert Irving is an oasis in the hustle and bustle. The winding paths, carefully matched plants, gurgling streams and unique water platform maze are full of natural interest and design ingenuity. It is a great place to stroll, relax and relax. 4. The unparalleled viewing platform: Located on the top of Santa Monica Mountain, the view is extremely wide. Standing on the terrace, you can see the city skyline of Los Angeles, the rolling mountains and the vast Pacific Ocean. When the weather is fine, the bustling city and the magnificent nature blend at this moment, especially at sunset, the scenery is particularly shocking. Is it worth going? Without a doubt, it is highly recommended! Art lovers must pilgrimage: the quality and breadth of the collection are enough to make people linger. Architecture and landscape control will fall in love: the perfect dialogue between modern architecture and nature and urban landscape. Visitors who seek unique experiences: the top of the mountain location, the small train, free high-quality art, the beautiful garden and the view, the combination experience is unique. Practical tips: Parking is expensive (about $20, $15 after 3pm), so it is recommended to book a parking space on the official website in advance. Reserve at least 3-4 hours to enjoy the experience. Bring a camera, the sunset view is not to be missed! Summary: The Getty Center combines top art, outstanding architecture, exquisite gardening and magnificent landscapes, providing a high-quality cultural experience full of aesthetic enjoyment and spiritual relaxation that far exceeds ordinary museums. It is not only a cultural landmark in Los Angeles, but also a must-see for anyone visiting Los Angeles.

So great! As a F.R.I.E.N.D.S fan, going here made us really happy. The ticket bought here was very easy to use. We were also fan of Harry Potter and Gilmore Girls so going here was really great

10. Exposition Park

based on 96 reviews
Exposition Park, this 52-hectare urban oasis has been famous for its cross-border cultural landmarks since its establishment. In the California Science Center, the core of the park, the retired space shuttle "Endeavour" is suspended in a special exhibition hall. The adjacent ecological dome simulates a tropical rainforest environment, where visitors can observe the real-time process of butterflies breaking out of their cocoons. The Gem and Mineral Hall of the Natural History Museum contains azurite crystals. More than 200 species of roses in the rose garden spread along the Neo-Renaissance arcade. The ancient Greek arches of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum have witnessed the opening ceremonies of two Olympic Games, and its underground corridors display the signature wall of past torchbearers. As an urban park that integrates aerospace technology, Olympic heritage and ecological art, it continues to write the chapter of Los Angeles' public memory with cultural layers spanning three centuries.
