The best place to enjoy the night view in Los Angeles is the Griffith Observatory. Located on a high hill, it is easily accessible by using the DASH bus. Anyone can enter for free to observe the beauty of nature and the universe and view historically recorded materials. If you visit at the right time, you can also watch documentary films for free, so it's recommended for those who are interested in the universe. Especially since it appeared in the movie La La Land, many tourists visit at night to enjoy the romantic view of downtown Los Angeles! DASH bus fare: $1 one-way (cash only, TAP card not accepted)

Griffith Observatory, the filming location of the movie 'La La Land', is one of the must-visit attractions in Los Angeles and one of my personal favorites😌. . 🚕Transportation ✔️Take a taxi directly up the hill. After getting off, walk a short distance to the entrance. It is recommended to avoid holidays and weekends, and go a bit earlier. Many people go up the hill around 4 or 5 PM to watch the sunset🌇, which can cause traffic jams. ✔️When going down, you can take a free shuttle bus to the bottom of the hill and then take a taxi, which can save some fare😁. 👀Highlights ✔️The observatory does not require an entrance fee. Watching a show costs $10, and you can buy tickets on the spot. The seats are incredibly comfortable, especially for those who have been walking all day. Lying on the sofa and looking up at the vast universe is extremely relaxing👏. ✔️Viewing through the telescope is free, but you need to wait in a long line. ✔️Don't miss the dome mural and Foucault pendulum in the observatory hall. ✔️Be sure not to miss the sunset🌅 and the twilight after sunset at the observatory, which are breathtakingly beautiful. ⚠️Reminders ✔️Closed on Mondays. ✔️The signal📶 on the hill is not very good, especially indoors.

I booked a last minute trip to Los Angeles in March and I did not regret it. In America’s second biggest city, the vibe is chill and the weather is pleasant. Featuring an urban core, ocean waves, and rolling mountains, photography lovers will be spoilt for choice here! Here are my favorite photography spots around the city: 1️⃣ Beachwood Drive and Winans Drive After hiking in the Hollywood Hills, make your way down Beachwood Drive. It’s a picturesque residential neighborhood nestled against the backdrop of the Hollywood Sign. 2️⃣ Mount Hollywood Trail Start your hike at Griffith Observatory and follow the signs leading to the Mount Hollywood Peak. The views of the city below are spectacular. From here, you can continue hiking toward the Hollywood Sign. 3️⃣ Centennial Street The wonderful thing about LA is that most tourists never wander to the residential areas! So you’ll get to enjoy views like the one of Downtown LA from Centennial Street without the crowds. Afterwards, walk for about five minutes and you’ll reach Chinatown where you can enjoy some delicious Chinese food! 4️⃣ Santa Monica Pier Santa Monica can get crowded, especially on weekends, but you can’t miss it. Have ice cream, load up on burgers, or go on a few rides at the Pacific Park before walking down the sandy beach towards Venice Beach. 5️⃣ Downtown LA The Historic Core of Downtown LA is a little bit shabby but it serves up some great photo opportunities. Walk along Broadway and check out some of the cool buildings. End your walk at Grand Central Market with some tasty food and coffee. 6️⃣ Angels Point Located in Elysian Park, Angels Point is a pleasant breath of fresh air away from the city. Besides the viewpoint, the park is a great place to people watch.
