The wide, tree-lined paths along the tops of these large 16th and 17th century city walls are great for walking and cycling.
There is a tree-lined road on the wall of the town of Lucca, and it is a good choice to ride Lucca! The sunset time is accompanied by golden leaves, and this moment is very beautiful. The small town of Lucca is also a gathering place for opera art, which is staged every week. why? Because this is the hometown of Puccini!

If you're not a walker, runner or cyclist, another way to walk through the walls of the old town of Lucca is to rent a pedaled car. Each rides a two- or four-person scooter. The ramp up the city wall on the bike was a bit challenging but could have been pushed down. Well worth it! You will see the city interior, lots of towers and palace gardens, and the experience was great. Remember to stop for a hot Italian sandwich or sausage and cheese wine to enjoy your time on the road.
Out of the Lucca train station, you can see the sprawling walls of Lucca. The walls of Lucca surround the ancient city, very complete and ancient, there are moats under the walls, some have become grassland. The walls are very wide, more like a ringed green park. The walls overlook the city and overlook the mountains.
Super beautiful scenery, the autumn wind blowing leaves, the golden yellow with green grass, beautiful! beautiful! beautiful! Lucca city wall has been weathered, so far preserved, the atmosphere is strong, not many visitors here, especially quiet and leisurely.
A must to walk the city wall to Luca, best rent a bike ride, six 18 EUR/h, bike 3 EUR/h. The wall is well preserved, once again the city wall is a humane view of the town of Luca, one side can look out for the natural scenery in the distance. The city walls are busy for exercise, we went at the Luca Music Festival, even though the town shops were closed at night and the streets were cold and still the walls were constantly seeing people walking, jogging and cycling!
