Shimen Mountain Stream

Shimen Mountain Ravine is located in the western foot of Mountain Lushan in Jiujiang City. Because Mount Tianchi and Mount Peak face each other like arches of a doorway, hence they have been known as the Main Entrance of Shanxi. Shimen Mountain Ravine faces the cliff of the peak. The "Little Stone Gate" is relatively narrow. Between the two cliffs, there is only a small slit. In order to enter this "doorway", visitors must position their bodies sideways. Between the canyon, vaguely visible chaotically arranged strange rocks at the creek bottom and the giant rocks in Wuli Creek lining along the creek form a “stone platform”. There is a large smooth rock that is big enough to sit a few dozen people. Three large characters “Shimen Mountain Ravine” are engraved on the stone. It is a favorite place to take photos for many visitors.
