It is a commemorative special exhibition hall, affiliated to the Macao Civil Service Bureau.
In December 2004, in order to commemorate the century-old event of Macao's return to the motherland, the Macao Handover Gifts Exhibition Hall opened on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of Macao's return. The building is three stories high. The ground floor is the entrance lobby and administrative department of the exhibition hall. The first floor is the Handover Gifts Exhibition Hall and the Special Exhibition Hall, and the second floor is the lecture hall. The Handover Gifts Exhibition Hall mainly displays the handover gifts presented to Macao by the State Council of China, provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
