No.14 of Best Things to Do in Macau

Taipa Island is located in Macau. It used to have several names. Later, it was officially called Taipa Island. I feel that this word is a bit difficult to pronounce. I really can’t read it without looking it up in a dictionary. It is located in the south of the Macau Peninsula, across the sea from Hengqin Island in Zhuhai, and has three bridges connecting the Macau Peninsula. When I traveled to Macau, I chose to stay in a hotel on Taipa Island, which was very close to Guanye Street. Unfortunately, I still didn’t have time to go there. Taipa Island has a relatively long history. It used to be a small industry producing fireworks, firecrackers, matches and other small industries. Now it has greatly changed and has become a place for the development of tourism and catering economy.

There are many places to visit in Macau. One place you can't miss is Coloane. I personally think that Coloane is the most youthful, artistic and leisurely. Coloane on a sunny day exudes heat and welcomes every tourist. It attracts you and me with its charming appearance and story-filled connotations...

Macau Black Sand Beach is located on the south side of Coloane Island in Macau, China. The beach is about one kilometer wide, with fine and uniform black sand. It was cloudy when I went there, and the black sand seemed to have a nostalgic and melancholy filter, which was a scene with a sense of story.

The Zhuwan Garden above Zhuwan Bay is built on the mountain. In addition to the original trees, the houses, small bridges and path railings are all local materials, built with pine wood, coordinated with the natural environment, simple and natural. The garden is full of plants, green and green, and there is a stream flowing between them, quiet and elegant. Walk along the path to see the garden, leisurely.

The ancient name Qinshan (because it is like a luminous mountain), originally a barren mountain, facing the sea. In 1622, the fort was built (there is a church and the oldest lighthouse in the Far East, and the coordinates of the longitude and latitude of Macau are based on the coordinates of the lighthouse), which is part of the historical city of Macau. In the 19th century, the Portuguese government planted pine trees, so it was called Songshan. After opening up the park, it became an important city lung in Macau. In the 1920s, Dongguan reclamation into a new port, and so far, it has been in Guangsha.

Mount Guia, commonly known as the "Bishop's Hill", is home to the former bishop's palace of the Catholic Diocese of Macau. The hill is shaded by trees and has a quiet environment. From the hill, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Macau's South Bay and Inner Harbour. Mount Guia is located in the southwest of the Macau Peninsula. It is 62.7 meters above sea level. It faces the Inner Harbour to the west, faces Mount Guia across South Bay to the northeast, and is connected to Mount A-Ma in the south.

The Nam Van Lake is a man-made lake in Sé, Macau, China. It is one of two man made lakes in Macau. It is located at the southern end of Macau Peninsula. The lake was once part of a bay, created when the causeway partially closed off the bay. Me and and my friends have bond here always especially at night after work or holiday .🥰😊#macau#macautripvlog#mytripmemories

There is a wetland ecological area like this in small Macau. It is really not simple. The management is very good. The flowers are really pleasant to see. The surrounding environment is very quiet. It is very relaxing to walk. It is a comfortable and comfortable morning.

Erlonghou Park is located in the bustling city of Macau, China, the main road of Stony New Bays, the west of Songshan, convenient transportation, is a park with a history of more than 100 years, is also one of the largest parks in Macau. The park plants a variety of flowers and trees, and builds a pool, sets up seats, and raises birds. The Macau Reservoir is a reservoir in the Macao Special Administrative Region located on the eastern side of the Macau Peninsula with a content of about 13 million cubic points. It is one of the main sources of drinking water in Macau, providing drinking water needs for Macao residents and a wide range of commercial areas. The Macau Reservoir was built in 1953 and was created by the Macao government as a significant water source to ensure that Macau residents have adequate drinking water. The gradual increase in the pool content, from the initial 5 million cubic points to the current 13 million cubic points, can help Macau deal with data concentration and pollution problems and maintain the quality of drinking water. In addition to supplying drinking water, Macau Reservoir has an important function, which is to serve as a pumping station to supply Macau's wide-range of electricity. A report released by the Macau Power Corporation said the Macau Reservoir is one of the most important and reliable energy resources in their wide area, providing enough power to meet the needs of internal power stations.
