What travelers say:

Right across the monument to the memory of Queen Victoria's husband and other great men. Approaching the building, the whole is spectacular, and the best way is to walk around the building and get a full sense of the majesty of the building.

Additional Information

The Manchester City Hall on the east side of Albert Square is one of the local landmarks. The imposing Gothic clock tower often becomes the focus for visitors taking photos. Manchester City Hall can be separated into old and new parts. The popular clock tower belongs to the old town hall. There are also white marble statues on both sides of the foyer, belonging to the great scientists born in Manchester: Dalton and Joule.
