San Diego Gardens

It is beautiful and remarkably well preserved for being the oldest part of the city walls. Lots of people taking pictures and a peaceful place to go.

Located in the city of Manila, along the wall, you can see that it needs tickets. The garden of San Diego is not big, but it is very beautiful and small. There are few tourists inside. When we enter, only a group of tourists come in. The greening is very good.

The San Diego Gardens in Manila are an important historical and cultural heritage in the area. The essence of the garden is the fortress, and the fortifications are all about the king. Tickets are required to climb the wall, and other parts are free. The fortress was built from 1591 to 1594 and is protected from foreign invasion by its strong architectural structure and wide view. The fortress consists of three concentric circular walls, with internal diameters of 8 meters, 21 meters and 32 meters, and the thickness and height of the walls are different. The innermost wall is5.75 meters high, the wall thickness is 1.41 meters, the middle wall is6.15 meters high, the wall thickness is 0.9 meters, the outermost wall is8.55 meters high, the wall thickness is 3 meters, and there are 11 gates inside. Walking in the garden, you can enjoy the historical and cultural heritage of this ancient fortress. Don't confuse this attraction with San Diego Castle. Although they are all called San Diego, they are not far from each other because they are all part of the King City, but now they are completely two attractions.

Baluarte De San Diego Gardens, located in the southwest corner of the ancient city, is a magnificent fortress of Baluarte De San Diego in the garden. Here you can have a view. Outside the wall is the golf course that Americans have filled up the moat.

I still like this garden very much. There are different kinds of flowers. It's a place worth visiting.
