    Far more than expected - great view

    You can easily miss a small hill Kostanjevica near the center of Nova Gorica. Caste hill in Italian Gorica / Gorizia is far more attractive. You can drive nearly to the entrance of the old monastery. ...

    nice walk and view

    Nice walk even from the town center, but also accessible by car. It is special feeling that French royals are buried here. There are also nice view to both Gorica towns, Italian and Slovene.

    Nice view

    The monastery itself is not so impressive. inside are tombs of royalties from the past. The view on Nova Gorica however is worth the drive up there.
