The 1912Getting There - I took the didi from the Nanjing South Railway Station and it took less than half hour, maybe 15 minutes. Attractions - Take a walk around the lake. Sit at the waterfront and have a picnic. Hotels - Novotel Hotel along with a few other Western names were nearby. Food & Restaurants - So many options for good food, both Chinese and Western. The server helped recommend something for brunch and not one dish created any form of disappointment! We wanted to return next morning but instead went to Wine Thieves for breakfast. Nanjing - Block 1912Welcome to Nanjing’s 1912! 📍How to get there - Block 1912 is located near Daxinggong subway station. (Subway lines 2/3) Attractions - Plenty of shops, coffee shops, restaurants and pub! I’d recommend you go there a night since most bars only open at 6pm! The lights are also very pretty so do go in the evening. 👌 Restaurants - Plenty! There are both Chinese and Western style restaurants. While visiting, I went to Black Clouds Beer House for a pint. (It’s located in front of Commune). I had the Woo Cloud IPA (58¥) and thought it was pretty decent. I also ordered fried chicken (heads up - it’s not boneless) so it was just ok. Next stop I went to Master Gao. I had a Bird Land IPA and I thought it was great! Again, go there at night and enjoy the vibe! 😎 #ThisIsChina #nanjing #urbanexplorer #foodie #chinaIsa in 中国41

Lunar New YearEven though Nanjing 1912 block is one of the most happening place in Nanjing 🌟🎊 during the new year week it's quite opposite. The day I went on the first days of holidays more than half of the shops were closed and the street looks empty 🎨🚶. But still you can get in some restaurants like pizza Hut, KFC, Manhattan and so on. Getting there: Nearest metro station is daxingong 🚇 which is walkable distance from the street and I am not sure about the nearest exit. It also have a bus stop 🚌 right in front of the street. Halloween Night 💀👻These are some pictures I took during the Halloween night from Nanjing 1912 block near presidential palace🎭. I personally feel one of the best place to go on Halloween night 🎃👽. There are lots of pubs inside Nanjing 1912 pub street. Most of them are decorated very beautifully and can get the Halloween ambiance . The area is very active and vibrant from Evening 🕸🎼🌃. This place can be easily reach by metro 🚇. Nearest metro station is Daxinggong. Few meters walking distance from station exit. Day and night in 1912 street…This was a beautiful place to visit…regardless of the time of the day it’s still breath taking with a few options to choose from..it’s a definite spot filled with buzz and liveliness. We visited Lugas,and shared some decent drinks 🍹. Plenty of seats and some live music…Later on our endeavors found a beer museum,with tons of beers to choose from around the world. They serve light snacks too. A great place to end off our night ☺️. During the day,there were some stalls selling random things…when you take the escalators you will also see a go karting track to have fun with kids or take some boats into the lake and appreciate the scene. ~1912~This is the place where the trendy, young people go. A street behind the presidential palace. I took line 3, Fuqiao station exit 3, and walked for about 5 minutes. It's the main bar district in Nanjing. Since 1912 block opened in 2004, it has been a very popular street. The ambiance was great. Too many western restaurants to choose, various famous cafés and bars. The place is very lively at night. Most of the bars are very similar and slightly overpriced. As they said it's also home to a Master Gao bar, Nanjing's leading craft beer brewery.
