Kaiyukan is an aquarium that faithfully reproduces the natural environment of the Pacific Ocean and its surrounding waters. Each region of the Ring of Fire that surrounds the Pacific Ocean has been selected and reproduced in a large tank. Each tank in the aquarium is positioned to correspond to an actual geographical location in the Pacific Ocean. Approximately 30,000 creatures of 620 species are kept and exhibited in various tanks, including the "Pacific Ocean" tank in the center of the building where whale sharks swim leisurely, the "Japanese Forest" tank with a waterfall and lush vegetation, and the "Tasman Sea" tank where white-sided dolphins live. The "Jellyfish Galaxy" tank, which explores the charm of jellyfish, and the "Arctic Circle" tank, where ringed seals and other creatures live, are also popular.
△ [Aqua Gate] A world of blue spreads out before you, like a transparent undersea tunnel.
△ [Tasman Sea] In this tank, Pacific white-sided dolphins swim dynamically.
△ [Pacific Ocean] This tank is home to many creatures, including majestically swimming whale sharks, gracefully flapping manta rays, and schools of starlings.

It was so easy to enter with QR code, queue was fast when entering the aquarium. We enjoyed looking at the fishes and we the amazing whale sharks!
It was raining outside so it was good we spent our afternoon inside the Aquarium but it was crowded especially at the start of the tour. It was not the biggest Aquarium I went to so far but everything is well maintained. Fuss-free entry with timeslot tickets and was able to watch feeding of penguin and seals. Would suggest to broad on Santa Maria ferry first before going to Aquarium since both are just side by side.
Very good to visit the aquarium, although not big, but, on a hot day, a good place to take the baby out, bring a good booklet, there are many places where children can stamp, children like it very much
Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, also known as kaiyukan,is a mesmerizing aquatic wonderland that offers an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.
Osaka Aquarium is one of the most beautiful aquariums I have visited. the people are so friendly and helpful and there is so much to see (my favorite were the Otters) It’s very affordable and you can even get a package that includes a ferry ride after the aquarium. Everything in there is so beautiful and they have many different eateries and a ferries wheel right outside. I would definitely go back!
