Lake Powell

Lake Powell is definitely a highlight of the Midlands tour. It is refreshing to see enough yellow land in the Grand Canyon and the Midlands desert to come to a green and clear lake.

The Colorado River in the canyon area has a huge Glen Gorge dam, the reservoir officially named Lake Powell, upstream of the Hoover Dam. The red Zhuyan and deep canyon scenes are spectacular, and the water canyon is a pleasure.

Page can reach 40 degrees at noon and 45 degrees in summer. Dry and hot, so tourism projects are concentrated in the morning and evening. Almost no one is seen at noon, except for water projects. Today, I found a restaurant located at the junction of Arizona and Utah. Facing the lake view, I ordered a roast pumpkin shredded with glutinous rice, pistachios sesame and avocado salad. We drove from Las Vegas to Paige and took a tour of Lake Powell. As it was approaching dusk, we decided to go see the sunset. If you buy a ticket, it is said that it costs 20 yuan a car. It may be a dry winter season, the lake we saw is small, not as spectacular and beautiful as written on the Internet. But we still insisted on watching the sunset, a little cold, after watching, quickly drove away.

Near Page Town, the lake is seen from its highest point. Wide and boundless, there is a kind of desert smoke straight, long river sunset feeling. The weather is very good. Danxia landform combines with pure Lake water. It's beautiful.
