Krabi’s Railay Beach is divided into East Railay, West Railay and Phra Nang. The beaches require only 10 minutes to travel from East Railay to West Railay. The beaches are connected by walking paths through large resorts. Railay Beach is a famous destination for rock climbing with its numerous rock faces and caves. Rock climbing is mostly concentrated in East Railay, where aside from ordinary practice walls, there are also mountainous rock faces on either side of the beach that make great challenging natural climbing sites. The turquoise water of the beaches make a trip to Railay a very special experience.
1. There is daily ferry transportation between Railay Beach and Krabi and please do take note of its timing schedule. The cruise journey per trip will take around 45 minutes. 2. During summer, it is advisable to bring along sunscreen lotion to prevent getting sunburn when visiting Railay Beach.

Railay Beach is actually a short peninsula with four beaches on it. Railay is already on the bucket list of every discerning traveller, and it is one of Thailand's most sought-after beach destinations. Railay is a serene and unique world located just south of Ao Nang Beach, around a rocky promontory and only accessible by boat.
Beautiful white sand beaches, soaring limestone cliffs, vistas, caverns, and a lagoon buried inside the cliffs, all molded and fed by the changing tides, can all be found on one small peninsula. Everything is within walking distance!
There are no roads in Railay; only footpaths are available. Longtail boats are the only mode of transportation; no buses or cars are available. The beautiful Phra Nang Peninsular is effectively blocked off from the rest of Krabi by limestone headlands and steep jungle valleys; the only way to get there is by water. Railay is the epitome of a tropical paradise, with no roads and no bother.
Railay provides relaxed days, adventure expeditions, and chilled-out evenings in a tropical paradise with no roads and no fuss.
As I told you in the previous post already, we headed to the beautiful Railay Beach peninsula in Krabi. The peninsula is known for its crazy looking limestones and turquoise beaches. The area is quite busy at daytime, but when you come to the beaches early in the morning you are as good as alone. That’s what we did. You can see how beautiful it looked there for sunrise. A moment we will never forget! Are you rather a sunrise or sunset type? :)

If you are at Ao Nang, don't miss out going to Railay Beach and walking down to Phra Nang Cave, these two beauties are only 10-15 min walk to each other and offers beautiful soft sand and calm clear water. #wintergetaway
Stunning postcards from Thailand. Railay Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever had the pleasure of visiting.
