What travelers say:

The earliest post and telecommunications business building in Qingdao is popular for its elegant gothic architecture. It is not only the exterior that is eye-catching. The exhibits of cultural relics on display in the museum are no less impressive, and the first floor is the reception hall and free exhibition area.

Additional Information

The Qingdao Post and Telecommunication Museum is a European-style building with a red facade, next to the trestle bridge. Here you can view a variety of interesting old-fashioned telephones, you can see the rehabilitation of the 1920s real Kong Xiangxi office, and you can even write a postcard to your future self. The building where the Qingdao Museum of Posts and Telecommunications is located was built in 1901 and was once the site of the post office of the German Empire. The museum now mainly opens the first, second and fourth floors: the lobby on the first floor reconstructs the scene of the old post office at the beginning of the last century; the second floor is the exhibition hall for historical goods and materials; the fourth floor is the attic and there is also a cafe.
