Located in the southwest of Qingzhou City, Camel Mountain has long been a Qingqi tourist attraction. When seen from a distance, the twin peaks are in opposition. Because the mountain's shape is like that of a camel, for which it was named. Camel Mountain, along with Yunmen Mountain and Pi Mountain south of the city, were natural barriers for the ancient city of Qingzhou. Camel Mountain is famous not only because of its steep peaks, ancient pines and cypresses and more than 100 kinds of animals and plants. Of even greater importance are its grotto statues and the extremely high-value cultural relics on top of the mountain, such as Haotian Palace.
