Tombs of Tibetan King

The tomb of the Tibetan king is a well-preserved and large-scale king's tomb in the Tibet Autonomous Region, including the tomb of Songzan Ganbu and the tomb of Chide Songzan. There is a small monastery built on the top of the sealing soil of Songzan Ganbu tomb, which is dedicated to the statues of Songzan Ganbu, Princess Wencheng and Princess Chizun. As an important part of Tibetan history and culture, the tomb of Tibetan king has high research and discussion value in social, political and economic aspects of the Tupu period.

The Tibetan king's tomb is located in the southwest of Zongshan, Qiongjie County, Shannan, about 90 kilometers away from Zedang Town. Unlike the imagination, this is actually a tomb. The mausoleums are sealed with tall soil, which is a high-mounted hill tomb made of earth. Its upper mound is oval, the pier is extremely flat, about 130 meters long, the lower layer is a rectangular earth platform, and the surrounding area is uneven. The specific number of Tibetan king's tombs is difficult to determine, and there are huge monuments of merit next to the eight tombs. After all the changes, some have been destroyed, and the current Tibetan king's tomb is just a coat of clothes.

The tomb of the Tibetan king is the largest mass grave in the history of Tibet, and is also regarded by Tibetan compatriots as a holy place for the Tibetan people. If the big cemetery is located on the south side of the river in Qiongjie County, it looks empty, the wind is blowing, and the piles of broken walls are preserved in the glory of the past.

The tomb of the Tibetan king is a mausoleum group of Zampu people from the 29th to the last generation of the Tuyu Dynasty. It was built in the sixth century to the end of the ninth century. There are 22 mausoleums. The tomb No. 1 is the tomb of Songzan Ganbu. There is a tomb guarding house on the top. The 13th century Ningma Pai was converted into Songzan Lakang to worship Songzan Ganbu, and here in Egypt is the Valley of the Emperors [laughing]
