    Interesting if wind farms are new to you

    This is worth a stop if you’re passing although the turbines date from 1998 so not like the modern ones. Interesting info at the viewing area.

    I was happy to see that these were in QLD providing power to 3,500 homes. Standing at 160 metres high, with a blade length of 90m. Yes they are big steal structures but I find them interesting, Handy...

    Amazing unexpected site

    We came upon these rather suddenly and were surprised by these incredible Windmills. Having only seen them once before in Alberta Canada, the massive Turbines are surprisingly quiet. Just a stones...

    These "windmills" are huge

    We came on a calm day, so there weren't much movements from the windmills. Pretty country side scenery though. There was an info board that educates people on electricity generation from wind.

    Breathtaking and tranquil

    We stumbled across this beautiful look out. Very relaxing and calm. Something different that you don’t see everyday. Worth a drive out to.
