Walk to great views of the area
The path is wide and well marked. The view from the top is worth the hike. Not too difficult or steep.
Hike Chamcook Mountain
Easy hike, wide nice path, beautiful views. 1.5km one way I believe. Picnic tables up top if you want to pack a snack.
Gorgeous views
This is a nice walking trail. There are a few stops along the way to read and take photos. The trail is nice and wide and a lot of it is shaded.
Our experience
We stayed at the Algonquin Inn for one night and while we were there decided to hike to the top of Chamcook mountain. It was a beautiful day, sunny not to hot with a mild breeze to keep the mosquitoes...

We did the hike twice to the top of mountain behind the Rossmount Inn. The first time was foggy so did not get to see anything. The second time the weather was much better and has a clear view of the ...
