Bangkok | Who knows, after a day in the ancient city of Siam, it feels like I've traveled all over Thailand
Thailand is really a place you never get tired of, there are only 0️⃣ times and N times, and each time you can discover different ways to play.
The first time I went to Bangkok, it was a special forces style trip. In just two days, I experienced the lights on the top floor of Marriott, the hustle and bustle of the weekend market, the romance of the riverside restaurant, the leisure of the green courtyard... I understood a multifaceted Bangkok in the shortest time.
This time, I don't want to tire myself out so much, I go to one place a day. I went to the ancient city of Siam, which I regretted missing before, for an immersive experience. I never expected that after visiting one attraction, I would feel like I had traveled all over Thailand.
📮Ancient City of Siam
The world's largest outdoor cultural heritage museum, opened in 1972 by the King Rama IX of Thailand and Queen Elizabeth II of England. The collection comes from historical relics of various periods in Thailand, spanning over eight hundred years.
I've known about the ancient city of Siam for a long time. Running Man once recorded here, many Thai dramas were filmed here, but it was only after I really walked in that I realized that there are so many treasure check-in places here.

The Ancient City - Muaang Boran is located in Samut Prakan province is a historical and educational place to visit in Thailand. Its highly recommend to hire a golf cart if there are more than two person. Individual hiring bikes and the roof provided great protection from the sun. The Ancient city is huge and it is a way to hot to contemplating walking around. This place is completely amazing.
This time I came with my family. We rented a car and visited the attractions slowly. The park is very large, so follow the instructions on the map. It is recommended to arrange at least half a day. There is also elephant feeding inside. They are very cute. They will curl up their trunks when taking photos. The northern Thai residents raise a lot of chickens of different sizes, which the children like very much. We also encountered a herd of cattle walking on the road. The ancient city of Siam is worth visiting. It is on the same line as the three-headed elephant and you can play together. It is worth recommending!
It is called the "world's largest cultural heritage museum". In addition to being shocked by the architecture and scenery here, you can also see the buildings that have been destroyed. The founders here restored it to 1: 1, as well as the ancient buildings that were relocated in the original site and the buildings designed by the founder himself. (It can be said to be unique), it is also convenient to come here, you can use the BTS light rail method, the price is cheap and there is no traffic jam; Lunch can be eaten in the buffet Thai meal in the park. We choose to avoid many people to order in the afternoon. We can also enjoy food (I like their coconut cakes and pork trotters hot and sour soup). It is recommended to rent a golf cart in the park. It is not recommended to go, because the area is too big. Add the weather is dry and hot; finally, it is recommended to do a good job of sun protection facilities (parasol / sunscreen) Oh! I almost forgot the power bank, I have to bring it. It is a scene to take a shot here, and I can finish the phone call (there is no power bank rented in the park)
Ancient city is located down south of Bangkok about a 30-45 mins drive. This place has over 200 over acres of land and the park itself is not walkable if you want to cover the entire place. You can either rent a bicycle, a motorised bicycle or a buggy to drive around to view all the ancient replica relic in the park. This is worth the visit as the replica are very similar to what you see in other parts of Thailand. The park itself is so huge that you will also require approx 2-3hrs to cover.
Siam Ancient City (Thai: เมืองโบราณ, Romanization: Muang Boran) is a museum park in Thailand, close to the Beilanfu Crocodile Lake Zoo. It is known as the world's largest open-air museum with 116 monuments and architectural attractions. The land of the ancient city of Siam corresponds roughly to the shape of the Kingdom of Thailand, and the monument is also located in the right location geographically.[1]
I explored the Ancient City, Muang Boran, where life-sized replicas of Thailand’s landmarks brought the country’s history to life. The Erawan Museum, with its massive three-headed elephant statue, was stunning, both inside and out. Strolling along the Chao Phraya River, I enjoyed the local markets and temples. Samut Prakan offered a perfect mix of culture, history, and local charm, making it a great day trip from Bangkok.
the place is great and has a lot of infrastructures that would amaze your eyes. the place is not too crowded so i enjoyed a lot there. would definitely go back there with family
