Cabrillo National Monument

The national monument of Caporio was named after the Portuguese navigator who climbed the west bank of North America here. The park is located on the Point Loma Peninsula in San Diego, California, and is managed by the United States National Park Service (National Park Service). The terrain is relatively high, overlooking the entire San Diego and Coronado Island of the United States Navy and Air Force Base. Standing at the Cabrillo National Monument monument, you can see the invincible sea view from above, and the San Diego and Mexico border is also unobstructed. At the beginning of the year, you can see the whales swimming across the sea at the Whale Overlook attraction. The park is San Diego's only national park, located in the city and on the southeast corner of the continental United States.
