Tianya Haijiao is a famous landmark in Sanya. The highlights of this scenic spot are the seashore scenery and rocks that come in different shapes. “Tianya” and “Haijiao” are two big rocks that have large Chinese inscriptions on them. It is a symbol of love for many people, making it a popular attraction among couples. In addition to these two stones, other famous stone carvings include “Nan Tian Yi Zhu” and “Rocks of Sun and Moon,” which represent wealth and love respectively. Do look out for them too when you are there.

Whether you’re a cynic or just hopeless -hopeful romantic like me; you’ll love visiting Tianya Haijiao. One can easily spend the entire day here admiring the beauty of sun, ocean, sand and nature.
Tickets are reasonably priced at ¥68\¥81 off peak\peak season respectively) and you can purchase the package at ¥98*
which includes a meal, hop on/off battery car ride w/ commentary and souvenir photo.
*I suggest arriving early and simply walking around the scenic spot on your own. There are signs and information points in English& Chinese at every turn.
There are too many IG worthy spots: bring a power bank and charge your devices as you’ll stop every second to take photos.
There are water sports activities, adrenaline sport activities, scenic flight rides, swings etc so bring your swim suit if you plan on doing any water activities ❤️
I took bus 25 from Yalong Bay at ¥6 and it was a beautiful scenic ride, so highly recommended taking the bus 🚌
Tianya Haijiao is +- 12km from Sanya Bay. Easy to get there with a Didi. It's beautiful scenery and a nice walk. I would suggest do Tianya Haijiao an Nanshan on the same day since it's on the same route and there's enough time to do both. Nature is beautiful all around even on your way there in the Didi. Nanshan is a further 17km from Tianya.
There are food stalls that you can rest at and have some lunch and something to drink. These places are not overcrowded and a nice way to spend a day around Sanya.
In the eyes of the ancients, the southernmost tip of China's Shenzhou - the end of the earth
ancient eyes in the southernmost tip of China's China - the end of the earth.
Chongqing Emperor Kangxi fifty-three years, three Qin Tianjian Qinqin Emperor Kangxi emperor "Tiannan Haibei". During the Qing Emperor Yongzheng period, Yazhou Chengzhou Chengzhe inscribed the word of the horizon on a seashore boulder in Tianyawan. During the War of Resistance against the Republic of China, Wang Yi, the commander of Qiongya garrison, inscribed the cape on the adjacent boulder. In 1961, Guo Moruo wrote the seven characters of the Tianya Haijiao Tourist Area on the other side of Tianya Stone. At this point, this piece of seashore on the shore of Tianya Bay has become a veritable end of the earth.
The corner of the sea is not only the end of geography, but also the end of the psychological. Throughout the ages, how many promises does the End of the World carry? Just do not know these expectations, how much is what you want, and how many, such as that dream bubble, one touch away.
