Jozangensen Park Loved this little park. People were cooking eggs, soaking their feet (not in the same bath!), gorgeous trees, and a fountain. Such a calm and relaxing place.

This was a nice little park on the walk down to the river from the bus stop. It was pretty crowded on the Golden Week day we visited, but it was still nice.
It is just off Tsukimi Bridge in the center of the hot spring town. It is a park with a statue of Jozankei Onsen, which is said to have opened Jozankei Onsen, and a footbath. The source that flows through the statue is quite warm, but the footbath is honestly quite lukewarm. You will be exposed to the air all the time.

Lovely Way to Spend a Morning
