Great place to get acquainted with the Korean culture and history. The place itself is very comfortable and beautiful. That’s a great pleasure just to walk around the territory. But the real magic starts inside. There are both historical and cultural expositions, some of them have also interactive digital experiences which are really interesting to try on. They also have all the explanations translated to English. Be ready to spend more than 2 hours here. I’ve spent 3 hours here during my first day in Korea and was forced to leave only because it was the end of the day. There are lots of resting areas around the building so you’ll never be too tired to explore one more room. Tips: * Book the AR experience on the Museum website in advance. It’s totally worth it! * Check for the announcements of the special events and exhibitions. The can expand your museum experience. Mostly they’re free.
A nice museum and close to the Ichon metro station and a park.
very nice place to visit. 사유의방 is famous. can bring kids and goods are pretty.
Walking along the ramp with bamboo on both sides to the door feels better than expected. Enter the spacious permanent exhibition building, there is a visitor center on the right hand side, the museum introduction has Chinese, Korean, English, Japanese and other language versions, and then the security check area, the bag and the person can pass the machine separately, and there is no need to take out anything. The first floor is Korean history and culture, the second floor donation hall and calligraphy and painting hall, the third floor Asia hall and sculpture . Craft Hall. The exhibits are very rich, and it took nearly two hours to look at the first floor of the third floor carefully. It's so much more exciting than I thought!
The museum is very large. If you come by subway, there is a special exit to the museum at the subway station. In summer, you can also get a small fan of gifts when you enter the museum. The museum is completely free, and there are two free Chinese explanations per day, the first one hour after the opening, the hall is assembled.
Most of the previous culture in South Korea was imported from China, including text, printing, Chinese medicine, Buddha statues, etc. The point is that every time I go to a country to visit a museum, I don't understand it. Although it is impossible to compare with ours, it is still elegant, people's art and culture, a little understanding.
It is mainly old objects in South Korean history, but they are all from Li's North Korea, mainly the throne of the king, the portraits of the kings of all generations, the genealogy of the kings, the maps of the royal etiquette, the color maps of various palaces in Seoul, anyway, eat and drink Lazar marriage, funeral and marriage are all there, There is also the fetal palace, a thing with Korean characteristics. The most cool thing is that you can take pictures casually inside. The interpreter is also Chinese, but the people who listen to the rented interpreter say that there seem to be very few Chinese people to see it. I personally think that this museum is worth seeing.
Very very stylish and trendy museums, will perform live performances, can also camp in the surrounding green space, very suitable for bringing children. The exhibition focuses on archaeological discoveries through cultural relics, so there will be no multimedia display, and the bones are very orthodox museums. The first floor and the second floor are South Korean archaeological finds, the second floor is donated and Asian archaeological relics. The exhibits of other countries are very gorgeous and can be seen with strong strength. There are many people on holidays, free but special exhibitions require money. The park is scattered with restaurants and cafes. The environment is good. There are automatic air-conditioning channels connected to the park at 2 Village Station and the subway. It is not easy to buy stamps outside the Korean post office to find the postbox, and Korean style postcards are also difficult to find. There are all here, you can buy them at a time.
