Shanghai Auto Museum

The Shanghai auto museum covers an exhibition area of approx. 12,000 m², divided into sections including the history hall, collection hall, technology hall, family-friendly car playground, temporary exhibition area, and business lounge. It currently displays nearly 100 classic antique cars, featuring approx. 50 domestic and international automotive brands spanning over 130 years of automotive development history. By integrating exquisite exhibits, precious historical materials, and rich multimedia interactions, it offers both family entertainment and aesthetic lifestyle experiences. The museum creates a multifunctional one-stop automotive cultural leisure space for visitors while providing an excellent display and communication platform for domestic and international automakers, cultural institutions, and private collectors.

History pavilion (1st floor)

Arranged chronologically, the history hall integrates key stages of automotive development into 9 thematic exhibition areas. Through classic representative vehicles and introductions to significant events, it showcases milestones in global automotive evolution and reflects the profound impact of automotive advancements on human societal development.

Collection pavilion (2nd floor)

It showcases nearly 40 classic vehicle types from the late 19th century to the 1980s, along with a series of fueling equipment and daily utensils, vividly illustrating humanity's inseparable connection with modern automobiles. Visitors can appreciate the traces of time and the brilliance of technology and art.

Technology pavilion (3rd floor)

Centered around the theme of "realm of evolution," it systematically illustrates the technological transition from traditional power to new energy and intelligent driving through two major sections: "evolution of automotive technology" and "boundless mobility." This creates a panoramic experience spanning the development of automotive technology, allowing visitors to intuitively grasp the evolutionary trajectory of the automotive industry.

The dissected modern vehicle serves as a visual focal point, intuitively showcasing its internal structure, allowing close observation of key components like the body, chassis, and drivetrain while touching the precision craftsmanship of industrial manufacturing. The temporary exhibition area connects the history of engine development through pivotal numbers, unveiling the secrets of speed beneath the hood.
