Enjoying the spring and climbing mountains in Shanghai, challenging the highest peak, Tianma Mountain
⛰️Never underestimate Shanghai's highest peak, Tianma Mountain.
It is often said that the 'mountains' in Shanghai should be called slopes, with the highest peak, Tianma Mountain, being just over 100 meters. Mocking as they climb, who would have thought it could be so exhausting! Climbing until completely worn out, the slope of the mountain is very steep, making it no easy feat. Sitting under the green trees to rest and regulate one's breathing, the area is lush with vegetation and serene. As one of the Nine Peaks among the clouds, it has two peaks, north and south, resembling a heavenly horse, hence the name.
The cultural landscapes include the Three Gao Scholars Memorial Park, Jian Pavilion, Di Pavilion, Wo Song Pavilion, and the Hu Zhu Tower, also known as the Hu Zhu Bao Guang Tower, built in the second year of Yuanfeng of the Northern Song Dynasty (1079). The brick and stone structure has seven floors and eight sides, standing 18.82 meters tall. The Hu Zhu Tower is built on the top of Tianma Mountain, with a slope surpassing that of Italy's Leaning Tower of Pisa, earning it the reputation of 'the world's number one leaning tower' and is a protected cultural relic of Shanghai.
Every spring, Tianma Mountain also hosts a bamboo shoot digging event. After the spring rains, bamboo shoots poke their heads out one by one, making for a fun experience unique to spring.

This scenic spot is not too big, the scenery is good, there are thousands of ginkgo trees, and the ancient tower, I don’t know how many years, the tilt is still standing, it is a miracle, the mountain is not too much,
It is known as the highest mountain in Shanghai. The family came out to climb the mountain on New Year's Day. The weather is very good today. It is very suitable for climbing. The tickets are not expensive. Adults are 9 yuan. Seniors over 65 years old and children below 1.3 do not need to buy tickets. The whole mountain is quite friendly, the hillside is not very shaking, and it is very friendly to children. Many families come to climb the mountain. Climbing is more than an hour. There is also a Leaning Tower of Pisa in Lushan, and I don’t know if it was accidental or intentional.
The bus here is very inconvenient, and the west gate is not allowed to go up. It has to go around 1.5 kilometers from the east gate. In fact, there is no difference between the two doors. It is very inhumane. The environment is OK. The mountain is slightly steep. You can climb and play.
Yes, yes, the first time I came to Tianma Mountain, the autumn is cool and suitable for climbing, and there are not many tourists. Many of them are family trips. I finally saw the lean tower when I climbed and rested. I admired those children and the physical strength obviously prevailed.
There are a lot of people at the door, the ticket verification takes a while, there is no queue and no order. The attractions are still worth visiting. The three Gaoshi Tombs have a strong humanistic atmosphere. The Pearl Tower on the top of the mountain is a not-so-famous leaning tower. Plus there are not too many people. It is the most worth visiting attraction in the Lushan series.
Very good park, Tianma Leaning Tower is simple and elegant, and the dead ginkgo is very strong and alive. Watch the sunset on Tianma Mountain, walk through the bamboo forest, release energy as much as you want, and the parking place is very large.
