zhujiajie is really an amazing ancient town that stretch over large area and lakes . I love the individual shops selling various loc dishes and titbits. very authentic vibes town with lots of food selections .
Great location to understand a bit about the history of China, especially on architecture, landscape design, art, craft etc. Besides from enjoying a slow boat looking at ancient building. For those that appreciate China's different dynasty costume, especial for the ladies, can rent and take potrait photo. Lots of food shop around.
Such a nice place to enjoy a more traditional vibe in Shanghai! is quite far from the city center but you can easily spend the whole day walking around the town and it’s alleyways and canals. Views are great and of visited on weekdays is not crowded at all!
