Practical Tips: Wear non-slip sports shoes, as the boardwalk steps are sloped; the wind and UV rays are strong at the beach, so a sun hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are essential; if driving, park at Gate 4 of Xichong and then transfer to the shuttle bus for a more hassle-free experience; avoid peak weekend traffic jams by traveling off-peak; after descending the mountain, head to Xichong for sea urchin fried rice and kiln-roasted chicken – the seafood is fresh and great value.
