Dongshanfeng Management Area is located in the northwest of Shimen County, Hunan Province, across the mountain from Huping Mountain, "Hunan Roof". The east-west peak is 45 kilometers long and 11 kilometers wide. The main peak is northeast and southwest, with an area of about 51.23 square kilometers, and the peak altitude is 1516 meters.
