National Museum of Singapore

"As a tourist from mainland China, I was very impressed by the Singapore Museum. Stepping into the museum, it seems to open a door to the long river of Singapore's history. It is undoubtedly the most vivid witness to Singapore's history. From the layout of the exhibition hall to the display of the exhibits, there is a professionalism and dedication. The ancient relics, like the pearls of the gleam of the years, exude the light of the years. Every artifact, every picture, every photo, tells the story of Singapore. They have witnessed the legendary evolution of Singapore from a small fishing village to an international metropolis. Here I see Singapore’s exchanges and integration with the outside world at different historical periods. Both early trade and later cultural collisions show Singapore's unique charm. As a Chinese mainlander, I can also feel some subtle connections between the two countries in history, and this cross-cultural experience is fascinating. The museum’s explanations were also excellent, clear and vivid, allowing me, a foreigner, to easily understand the historical context of Singapore. The enthusiasm and professionalism of the staff added a lot of warmth to the whole visit. In short, the Singapore Museum is a place to immerse and linger. With its rich historical connotation, exquisite exhibits and excellent service, it shows the world the past and present of Singapore. For tourists like me from mainland China, it is not only a window to learn about Singapore, but also an unforgettable cultural trip"
