Experience the magic of Christmas at Gardens by the Bay! Christmas Wonderland will ignite your senses this festive season with an amazing array of new immersive experiences with even more light displays and festive performances, as well as the return of fan favourites that will delight visitors of all ages. Presented by Trip.com and organised by Blue Sky Events, the 11th edition of Singapore’s biggest yuletide fair returns to Gardens by the Bay from 29 November 2024 to 1 January 2025.
Christmas takes on a whole new meaning at the Gardens, where visitors can enjoy ‘snowfall’ in the tropics surrounded by a dazzling light installation, say hello to a trio of Merry Bears, explore an enchanted forest, have a go at carnival games, catch festive performances by local artistes, dine on festive treats and more.
Spalliera + Blizzard Time
Inspired by the pointed arches in Italian Gothic architecture and handmade by artisans from the south of Italy, the stunning 20-metre-tall Spalliera light display centrepiece will be the backdrop to a perennial favourite, Blizzard Time.
Experience the surreal landscape of ‘snowfall’ in the Gardens daily, which will be even more magical when accompanied with choral music by illustrious Singaporean composer-conductor Dr. Darius Lim.
Blizzard Time will take place daily after each Garden Rhapsody light and sound show.
Stunning new light displays and multi-sensorial experiences
Photo opportunities are aplenty all around the Supertree Grove with four times more light displays that include a giant Ice Skate, Ornament Balls, and Gift Boxes.
Over at the Lawn, a larger-than-life light display of an adorable trio of Merry Bears – the biggest measuring up to six metres tall – will put a smile on everyone’s faces. Visitors can also wander through an enchanted forest at Bluebell Lane.
More captivating light displays can be found at Merry Lane presented by Trip.com too, with installations such as the colourful 50-metre-long Walk of Lights tunnel. Another highlight is Odette’s Dance, an ode to one of the world’s most iconic ballets, Swan Lake. The mixed media installation combines light displays of swans with captivating multimedia content.
Garden Rhapsody light and sound show
During the Garden Rhapsody light and sound show, the surrounding Supertrees will leave visitors spellbound with their lights dancing to favourite Christmas classics. Garden Rhapsody will take place daily at 7.45pm, 8.45pm, and 9.35pm.
Santa’s Village
Say hello to Father Christmas at Santa’s Village and join thousands who have made it an annual tradition to take a family photo at his home!

If you are going for the first time then jt is worth it. But the number of exhibits are not as many as I expected. I went on a weekday and it was drizzling before I arrived, so maybe that explains the less crowded scenario. Overall it was a good experience but maybe will go back again like every 2 to 3 years rather than every year. The stall games are not cheap too..

Supertrees are not only a concept, but also a symbol of Singapore's green urban planning. These tree-shaped structures are 25 to 50 meters high, like a fairy-tale forest in reality, making people feel like they are in a green city of the future. Marina Bay Gardens plans to build 18 supertrees, which will serve as vertical gardens covered with tropical flowering climbers, epiphytes and ferns, forming a green scene.
Supertrees/Giant Supertrees, visible from afar, these tree-shaped vertical gardens rise 9 to 16 stories high. These unique vertical gardens display tropical climbers, epiphytes and ferns, creating a wow factor.
Eleven of these super trees will be equipped with solar photovoltaic cells. These cells are not only used to generate electricity to meet the lighting needs of the garden, but also reflect Singapore's emphasis on sustainable energy and environmental protection.
It's a bit scary because it's so high (I'm afraid of heights) But the ladder itself doesn't make any noise or shake It must be made of very solid material No matter where you stand, there's very soft light so you can take nice photos
Recommend to go for the 6.30pm entry on weekdays (I chose Monday evening). And they allow early entry at around 6.20pm, there’s not much waiting for food, games and rides. The crowd only gets more around 8pm. If need to go toilet, do get a stamp for re-entry. Definitely must try the Museum of Ice-cream (Double scoop at SGD10, single scoop at SGD6) which is great for 2pax + 1child to share for the double scoop ice-cream. The food are great too, got the Steak with baked potatoes at SGD15.
