Pu Zhao Temple

Puzhao Temple is located at the foot of Linghan Peak at the foot of Mount Tai. It is named after the meaning of "Buddha's light shines everywhere". The temple is shaded by green pines and cypresses and rises up the mountain layer by layer. It is a complete group of ancient Buddhist temple buildings.

People in the Qing Dynasty eulogized the temple as follows: "There are several winding streams in front of the gate, thousands of green peaks behind the temple, birds singing and stream sounds intermittent, and the mountain scenery and cloud shadows are exquisite."

The east courtyard of the temple is quiet and peaceful, the west courtyard is full of green bamboos, the front courtyard has bell and drum towers facing each other, and the middle courtyard has the mountain gate, the main hall, the Mosong Tower and other buildings. General Feng Yuxiang once lived in seclusion here, and his tomb is on the west side of Puzhao Temple. In the Mosong Tower and the main rooms on both sides, there is an exhibition of Mr. Feng Yuxiang's deeds. In the backyard of the temple is the famous "Six Dynasties Pine", which is thick and majestic, with long branches winding and stretching in all directions, like a huge canopy.
