Very old shrine
The history of this shrine is dating back to Kamakura Period, but the actual building was reformed at the beginning of Edo Period. In front of this shrine, there is Taku Shrine.
Like Taku Shrine, it is a shrine on the east side of Nishikei Park. It is located further east than Taku Shrine. The three pine trees, which are said to be 700 years old, are magnificent. It is also called Kamitaku Songsha Hachiman Shrine / Wakamiya Hachiman Shrine.
It is opposite Taku Shrine (this is dedicated to the Ryuzoji family, the Taku family and the war dead of the Satsuma Rebellion) This is said to have been built in the 12th century and it seems to have a great history. There are enshrines such as Emperor Shinto. It seems that this priest is not present. Is there a shrine office that can be used as amulets? There was a beautiful hut, but the trademark sacred tree Sanbonsugi is also 700 years old. Taku Shrine and Taku Seiho Mausoleum ...
It is a shrine with a fairly old history. Surrounded by large trees, it had a mysterious atmosphere. There are also famous autumn leaves Taku Sei Mausoleum and Xikei Park, where you can see them together.
