Tianjin Italian Style Town(Italian style street)

The Italian Style Town of Tianjin is located in Hebei District of Tianjin. It has more than 200 Mediterranean-style buildings in its vicinity and was formerly known as the only concession outside of Italy. Strolling around that neighbourhood feels like you are actually walking in a romantic European town. The town now offers a plethora of westernized restaurants, boutique shops, bars, and outdoor bazaars. Marco Polo Square is one of the famous landmarks in that area. There are also former residences of a few chinese celebrities, such as the former residence of Liang Qichao, the former residence of Cao Yu, the president of the Warlord Era, and the former residence of Feng Guofan. They are all famous figures in China at the beginning of the last century. At night, the buildings light up and the shops become lively adding even more charm to the area.
