Senso-ji Temple, Kaminarimon Gate, and Nakamise are actually one attraction. My first time in Japan 🇯🇵, I saw the itinerary provided by the travel agency and thought they were separate attractions, but they're actually all together. Kaminarimon Gate is the main gate of Senso-ji Temple in Japan. Its official name is Furaishinmon, which means "Wind God and Thunder God Gate." A large lantern hangs below Kaminarimon Gate, the symbol of Senso-ji Temple.
Nakamise-dori Street, located at the entrance to Senso-ji Temple, originated in the Edo period and is one of Japan's oldest commercial streets. It sells snacks like pretzels and daifuku, as well as small items. There are also many restaurants and bars, making it a very lively place.

The Kaminarimon, or "Thunder Gate," is the outer of two large entrance gates leading to the Senso-ji temple complex in Tokyo's Asakusa district. The gate is dominated by a large red lantern displaying the gate's name in Japanese. First built in 941 CE, the gate was moved to it's current location in 1635. Over the next few hundred years, it was twice burnt down. The present incarnation was dedicated in 1960. Kaminarimon and Senso-ji are very popular attractions with many Japanese and foreign tourists milling about, snapping photos, and enjoying the day.
