A maritime town on a privileged site, Villefranche-sur-Mer is one of the main ports on the Côte d’Azur, a major stopover for cruise ships.
This picturesque little fishing port is also home to a flotilla of yachts and pointus (traditional fishing boats). With the majestic curve of its shoreline, its 16th-century Citadel and colourful façades, Villefranche-sur-Mer also became a favourite venue for painters and artists.

Show More ReviewsBellagio is a town located by the mountains and water. It reminds me of Jiufen in Taiwan. Many commercial hotels are built on stone paths. You need to bring your own porters to stay there [covering your face]. The tiredness of the journey disappeared when I saw the lake view bedroom. Someone recommended a restaurant on the top of the mountain. Who knew it would take an hour and a half to walk along the winding mountain road? I had to ask the restaurant to send a car to pick me up! The scenery on the top of the mountain is unobstructed, but it’s a pity that the local dinner doesn’t start until 7 o’clock. It was already late when we arrived, and we didn’t bring our camera [sad]. The food is simple and homely but very delicious.
