Chinatown(China Town)

Washington's Chinatown was formed in 1851 and has a long history. It is a historical district with rich Chinese traditions in Washington DC. Among them, the eye-catching wooden archway is officially named "Friendship Archway". In Chinatown, there are not only many Chinese restaurants, but also many Asian-style restaurants, which are crowded and lively all day long. Whenever the traditional Chinese New Year and Spring Festival are held, there are also traditional dragon and lion dances and other celebrations here, and the overseas Chinese gather here.
