Explore the Real Harry Potter Film Set at Warner Bros. Studio in the UK
After spending some time in the UK, I realized there wasn't much to do in London, so I decided to visit the Warner Bros. Studio, home to the real Harry Potter film set. This location preserves some of the original scenes from the Harry Potter films and is said to be the most official, authentic, and complete filming site. It's conveniently accessible from London, making it a great weekend activity or a must-visit when you're in the city.
🌟 Highlights of the Visit:
✨ The studio retains a large number of real models and costumes used during filming. At the exit, there's a particularly large model of Hogwarts (see photo 2), which was used to film the overall effect of Hogwarts in the first few movies, combined with post-production. It's a true movie recreation and definitely worth seeing.
✨ The special effects are impressively realistic. For instance, the scene where Harry visits the giant spider Hagrid adopted is recreated with effects like thunder, lightning, and smoke. During the outdoor building tour, there's even "snow" (see photo 3), which is actually foam snow, creating a very Harry Potter-like atmosphere.
✨ Gringotts Bank, Diagon Alley, the wand shop, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, the owl shop, Harry's cupboard under the stairs at his aunt's house, the Hogwarts boys' dormitory, and Hagrid's hut are all actual filming locations with incredible attention to detail, making you feel like you're in the movie.
✨ I finally got to try Butterbeer (see photo 4)! It's delicious, and although it's called beer, it contains no alcohol. The creamy topping is sweet and fragrant! A child kept watching me drink it, and you can take the cup home after washing it. I heard there's also chocolate frogs, but I didn't buy any.
🚗 Transportation:
I started from London Euston and took a train to Watford Junction, which takes about 15 minutes. For ticket purchases, refer to the stations in photo 5. After getting off the train, there's a clearly marked Harry Potter shuttle bus at the station exit that takes you directly to the studio. Remember to buy a round-trip ticket and arrive at the studio about 20 minutes before your ticket time.
💰 Costs:
Transportation: Train round-trip £13/person, bus round-trip £3/person. Two tickets plus one audio guide cost £98.95. It's cheaper without the audio guide, but I recommend renting one as it offers a Chinese option.
🎫 Ticket Purchase Tips:
It's best to buy tickets on the official website, as they're more expensive on Taobao. You can't post links, but you can Google "Warner Brothers Harry Potter" to find it. I bought mine about 10 days in advance, and tickets are released on the website at midnight UK time, so check then if you want tickets for a closer date. After purchasing, you'll receive an email with a PDF e-ticket (see photo 6). No need to print it; just show the electronic ticket to the staff for entry.
🚄 Train tickets can be purchased on the Trainline app, or you can use an Oyster card. Bus tickets can be bought from the driver when boarding.
⏰ Duration of Visit:
It takes about 4 hours to tour, but hardcore fans might want to spend more time exploring, as there's no time limit.

It’s really worthwhile to travel, the treasure that can’t be brushed, I really believe that Trip.com , I will realize my dreams and aspirations. It happened to be raining in London on the same day when I traveled, but it was still a happy atmosphere in Harry Potter. It was not affected at all. It was highly recommended. Bus back and forth, Choose the king cross up and down gathering point, very convenient
I will write about the experience and not the prices, because you expect tours like Harry Potter to be a bit overpriced in everything.
This place is the Harry Potter studio. The scene restores how Harry Potter was filmed. It is difficult to book tickets. It is necessary to grab them. The butter beer is also very delicious. It is all children. Magic robes, wands, scarves seem to be cheaper than Universal Studios.
Less than an hour's train ride from Euston arrived at Watford, where a special Harry Potter double-decker bus took tourists up the hill and played Harry Potter's classic music. Harry Potter studio is a dream trip. Every scene in the studio is enough to make the fans cry. Tip: Because Harry Potter studio has a large number of visitors and movies, you must make an online reservation before you visit.
The Harry Potter studio is the main filming site for the Harry Potter movies. The scenes here are very realistic, like real castles. Here you can find many movie clips and characters. They are one of the most popular attractions in London. They are also the sanctuary of the fans'minds. They are worth visiting.
Everything related to the film is here. Look at it slowly and carefully, because you can't go out without time. Also, there is a box with a ticket stamp inside. There is a wrench on it. The whole height is more than half of the person's height. This thing can stamp the paper ticket with a steel stamp.
A must-go for Harry Potter fans, it's definitely worth the trip!
The Harry Potter studio took the half-day tour by train. It took about 1 hour, 45 minutes and about 1.5 hours to get back to the city. The tour lasted about 3-3.5 hours. Like the official recommended time, the studio had everything in the movie. It was worth seeing.
