Luckily, we managed to purchase tickets through a third-party vendor at the last minute, and they provided us with electronic tickets for the same day. The tickets are date-specific, not time-specific, so even if you're a bit late, you can still enter without any issues. To get there, buy a train ticket from London Euston to Watford Junction. Once you arrive at the station, there's a shuttle bus that runs every fifteen minutes. Just show your ticket, and you can ride for free. Upon entering the studio, you can store your clothes and bags on the right side and pick up a passport for collecting stamps. There are seven embossed stamps to collect, and you only need to insert the page to get them stamped. The studio offers a variety of merchandise, including customizable robes, although sizes may be limited. I ended up buying a bow tie instead. There are plenty of other souvenirs worth checking out. We spent about five hours exploring the studio, and the sets and props are incredibly detailed and true to the films. Many of the exhibits are interactive, allowing you to press buttons and see the equipment in action, creating an immersive experience. The studio is also a great place for taking photos. While we didn't eat there, we did try the butterbeer and ice cream, which were very sweet. You can wash the cup and take it home as a keepsake. The Warner Bros. Before the ticket check, you can collect a Harry Potter passport at the information desk at the entrance. Inside, you can stamp it yourself using manual embossing machines. There are seven stamps in total, and once you've collected them all, you can find a staff member at the exit to stamp your house crest and receive a house crystal. You can also vote for your favorite house. Amazing tour for Harry Potter fans, from the intro video at the beginning of the tour until the end when you get to enter the prop of the house where it all started, where the young Harry lived under the stairs. The passports are a very nice touch, get yours and collect all the stamps from each point of the tour and get involved into finding every golden snitch and tick them off in the passport. After spending some time in the UK, I realized there wasn't much to do in London, so I decided to visit the Warner Bros. Studio, home to the real Harry Potter film set. This location preserves some of the original scenes from the Harry Potter films and is said to be the most official, authentic, and complete filming site. It's conveniently accessible from London, making it a great weekend activity or a must-visit when you're in the city. 🌟 Highlights of the Visit: ✨ The studio retains a large number of real models and costumes used during filming. At the exit, there's a particularly large model of Hogwarts (see photo 2), which was used to film the overall effect of Hogwarts in the first few movies, combined with post-production. It's a true movie recreation and definitely worth seeing. ✨ The special effects are impressively realistic. For instance, the scene where Harry visits the giant spider Hagrid adopted is recreated with effects like thunder, lightning, and smoke. During the outdoor building tour, there's even "snow" (see photo 3), which is actually foam snow, creating a very Harry Potter-like atmosphere. ✨ Gringotts Bank, Diagon Alley, the wand shop, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, the owl shop, Harry's cupboard under the stairs at his aunt's house, the Hogwarts boys' dormitory, and Hagrid's hut are all actual filming locations with incredible attention to detail, making you feel like you're in the movie. ✨ I finally got to try Butterbeer (see photo 4)! It's delicious, and although it's called beer, it contains no alcohol. The creamy topping is sweet and fragrant! A child kept watching me drink it, and you can take the cup home after washing it. I heard there's also chocolate frogs, but I didn't buy any. 🚗 Transportation: I started from London Euston and took a train to Watford Junction, which takes about 15 minutes. For ticket purchases, refer to the stations in photo 5. After getting off the train, there's a clearly marked Harry Potter shuttle bus at the station exit that takes you directly to the studio. Remember to buy a round-trip ticket and arrive at the studio about 20 minutes before your ticket time. 💰 Costs: Transportation: Train round-trip £13/person, bus round-trip £3/person. Two tickets plus one audio guide cost £98.95.
