Whitby is the place where the famous British navigator Captain Cook started. He was the first Englishman to arrive in Australia and New Zealand. On the high ground on the coast of Whitby, there stands his bronze statue, which is very tall and majestic, symbolizing the dream of a powerful ocean power in the past.
Just beside the whale jaw arch. The statue is mediocre, but the scenery there is superb.
The monument to Captain Cook, the first European to land in Australia. The statue is only mediocre, but the scenery there is superb
Very good tourist attraction, like it, good quality
The Captain Cook statue is really good, go and see
