The old reservoir for quiet fishing
The old reservoir is a perfect location for a spot of quiet fishing (licence required). it's adjacent to the main road from Whitby across the North Yorkshire Moors to Guisborough.

the resevoir has changed hands with the fishery gone. there is now a bird hide and the walks are very good particularly for those who enjoy wildlife
