The summer live scene of Windsor Castle encountered a rainbow
👍️Recommendation:
Windsor Castle is the private castle of the British royal Windsor dynasty, located on a small hill on the south bank of the Thames River.
Majestic and grand, it retains the flavor of medieval architecture from the defensive structures built by William I to the present day.
With over 1,000 rooms luxuriously decorated, it fully displays the majesty of a royal castle. Walking through it is like listening to its stories of royal power changes.
Arriving in Suffolk County in the east of London in the evening, we encountered a rainbow 🌈 after a shower. The first ☝️2️⃣ photos of the rainbow 🌈
📅Travel Guide:
Windsor Castle is located on a small hill on the south bank of the Thames River, more than 40 kilometers from central London.
1. Arrive at Windsor town from London, where there is still an old-fashioned train station, quaint and very British.
2. A simple security check is required before entering the castle.
3. Windsor Castle covers an area of about 70,000 square meters, all built of stone, with nearly a thousand rooms. The entire castle is divided into three parts: the Upper Ward, the Middle Ward, and the Lower Ward.
4. Passing by the 'State Apartments,' which are not open to the public.
5. The Middle Ward of the castle, with its iconic Round Tower, which used to be a prison for royal political enemies and is now a place for preserving documents. Whenever the Queen stays at the castle, the royal flag is raised at the top of the tower.
6. The Upper Ward of Windsor Castle.
The Upper Ward is the royal private residence, mainly including Queen Mary's Dolls' House (displaying various dolls), the King's and Queen's dining rooms, drawing rooms (ballrooms), audience rooms, living rooms, and the Waterloo Chamber. The decorations inside are extremely luxurious, but unfortunately, photography is not allowed.
7. The Lower Ward mainly includes St. George's Chapel, the Horseshoe Cloister, and other buildings, which are great places for taking photos.

Who doesn’t love the Windsor Castle— The Royal Residence? Stunning castle with mixed Gothic, Victorian and Georgian Architectural elements that makes the castle unique and beautiful! I’ve been here thrice: once when I was younger with family and friends, then in 2019 when my relatives from abroad came to visit us and in during the pandemic, I cycled from London to Windsor Castle! Highly recommend! also Legoland is located nearby and Eaton College as well! There’s a lot to see and do here!
As soon as I laid eyes on Windsor Castle, I knew I was in for a royal treat! 👑 This magnificent fortress has been the home of British monarchs for nearly a millennium, and let me tell you, it oozes history from every nook and cranny. From the moment I stepped through the iconic Henry VIII Gate, I was transported to a world of regal splendor. The State Apartments were a true feast for the eyes, with their ornate ceilings, priceless artworks, and lavish furnishings. I half-expected Queen Elizabeth herself to emerge from one of the rooms! 🤴👸But the real showstopper was St. George's Chapel. This breathtaking Gothic masterpiece left me utterly awestruck with its soaring arches, intricate stone carvings, and the final resting places of numerous kings and queens. Talk about a royal sendoff! 💀👻And let's not forget the legendary Changing of the Guard ceremony. Watching those stoic guards marching in perfect synchronization while sporting those iconic bearskin hats was a sight to behold. 🐻 I felt like a kid again, gawking in wonder at the sheer pageantry of it all.Windsor Castle is an absolute must-visit for anyone who wants to experience the grandeur of British royalty firsthand. Just be sure to pack your crown and scepter! 👑⚜️
